Chris Minter

 Chris Minter is a contemporary artist based in Hudson, New York under the mentorship of Jeffrey Gibson, MacArthur 'genius.' Influenced by the Black American diaspora, culture, music and technology, his art work explores themes of identity, self-fashioning and representation.  In his art, he aspires to amplify the magnificence of uniqueness, authenticity, whole-self and dimensionality. Chris Minter studied under Tschabalala Self while a student at Bard College.
